Day Habilitation

Goodwill NYNJ offers full and part time options with different tracks focusing on:

- Programs for people who have Autism

Prevocational Services

One-year Customized Employment program for people who have Autism Spectrum Disorders. Participants attend weekly job readiness sessions and internships during job development. Coaching available upon job placement. Documented diagnosis of ASD and residence in Manhattan or Bronx required.

April is Autism Acceptance Month — STEPS2 provides free virtual learning tailored for neurodivergent young adults. Over 380 young adults have participated in our free program, but we need your help to reach 500 more! |

They may be eligible to participate in our free online health education program and can earn $100 in gift cards by completing interviews alongside the classes.
How It Works:
STEPS2 is a free online program for New York residents aged 16-27 with I/DD. Participants attend one-hour Zoom sessions for six weeks, covering either sexual health and socialization or nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Each participant is randomly assigned to one of these two tracks and also completes four surveys, earning up to $100 in gift cards ($25 per survey).
